Hello, welcome, and first of all let me say thanks for being here!
So, as you may have already guessed my name is Nadine, and I thought it’s about time I hauled myself into modern day times and delved into this new fangled world of blogging! I’m going to be honest here, it’s something that’s been on my ‘must get this done’ list for at least a year now, yes, you read that right, twelve whole months of pondering how to even get started in this mysterious world of which I have managed to successfully avoid up until now! Not that I had gone out of my way to avoid it, rather that I have never actually known exactly what blogging is, or how to go about it, so perched very happily within my comfort zone I have been shooting the occasional glance over my shoulder into the blogging world, but never dared to venture further!
That is until now! You see there’s loads of stuff that’s always gurgling around in my head, lots of ideas and information that I want to share, and it just bubbles around, sometimes tumbling out at the most inappropriate of times (please tell me I’m not the only one this happens too?!) that it made sense to give my (sometimes very random) thoughts some well deserved clarity and a platform, you may or may not agree, but I really hope you stick around for long enough to let me get the hang of it all!
I have been on this earth for the grand sum of forty three years, and have been blessed (although at times it feels more like a curse), with two beautiful, kind souls which are my children. They are my reason for living, and for trying to make this thing called life as good as it possibly can be for the three of us. They are also my reason for drinking too much wine, smoking too many cigarettes, and swearing far too much! I obviously love them dearly, it goes without saying, but of course they drive me to despair on a regular basis, but that’s all part of the fun right?!
I’ve always been a bit of a hustler, an entrepreneur, eager beady eyes always looking out for something new and lucrative that I could get my teeth into, never fully satisfied with what I actually had and always wanting more. I think of myself as incredibly lucky to be a self employed business woman as it allows me the flexibility I need in my life to be there when my small people need me most. I couldn’t imagine going back to the world of retail management, where long hours and little time off was what occupied my working life for fifteen years.
Nowadays I have a business where I help people save money and make money, and I love every second of it! The company I am partnered with does all the hard work for me, and is a great family orientated discount club, who really look after and care about people, with great morals and ethics, all of which are very important to me, and in line with my own values.
I’m also involved with a fabulous group of ladies who make up The Business Womans Network, hosting my own events for local business women in my area to come together to learn and support each other in a nurturing environment where friendships and business relationships can flourish. Empowering women to live their best lives is something I am passionate about, and I love that more and more women are finding their own way in the world, challenging the prehistoric beliefs that it is only men that can have it all.
Now I’m guessing that you’re probably going to get a little bored of reading all about me, so I’m going to sign off now, and each week I will be sharing with you not only some of the randomness that goes on inside my head, but also some really excellent information about how I help people save money, make money, and grow their businesses. I would really appreciate it if you could share my blog site and if you would like any further information about anything that I do, or even just some random questions, please feel free to get in touch!
